A man named James Langton, who was 27 years old back then, lived in Leicester city. He had been using an online dating application since he was 21 years old. Being on a dating app was all unplanned and he was using is quite well. One day, the application named him as the most swiped-right person. He couldn’t believe it as he was using it all that while with no intention to actually look for a date! After re-checking that it wasn’t a scam, he told his friends about it.

His friends didn’t cheer him up. Instead, they commented that so many people out there looked better than him and were good looking and they found it strange that he got that tag. Nonetheless, James was on cloud line. It was very much unexpected for him to get popular on a dating application. On the same lines, he thought of a possible business opportunity by which he could help single men by offering advice on how they can get the most out of themselves for their dating app profile.

James worked with a lot of intelligent people that were in the field of finance or were engineers. He noticed one thing that they find it very difficult to meet and interact with new people. In order to help single men, he came up with a business idea wherein he will be assisting them on how they can make their profiles look even better and attractive. He knew dating wasn’t an easy job. There is a negotiation between two people on whether or not they would like to spend their life with each other.

James expressed that a lot of good looking men were finding it difficult to get a match. This is where he thought his service could help! He started a business with the name “Dater Help.” He explained that his startup wasn’t about getting a relationship and neither it attracted people who were committed to find their “one and only.” The company was just a helping hand at making their dating profiles look captivating! He was good at making glorified CVs and editing pictures. All he wanted was the information which he molded in a better way.

Dater help was providing assistance to men who were in their mid-30s and were looking for a relationship. James felt that people weren’t good at writing about themselves. He himself found it difficult to write a CV for himself. But as he knew what actually works and what doesn’t, it was easier for him to write a description for others. Moreover, he had a background in fashion photography which allowed him to help his clients pick out the most striking images for their profiles. His motive was to get people to a date and he couldn’t help them after that. He said that it was all about the quality of matches and following them through!
