Man Had A Sports Direct Themed Birthday Party At His Local Pub

Planning a theme for a birthday might not be as easy as it sounds. Introducing a unique idea is only the most enervating part. The same worry Lewis Jones had when he had to come up with the idea of a new outfit. He was planning for his birthday theme along with his friends: Woody, Ethan, Kody, Beeson, Smithers, and Sam. They eventually got the idea for the Sports Direct theme and went ahead for drinks.

Lewis explained that he had got this idea for his 21st birthday but hadn’t been able to execute his plan due to lockdown. Now, he has the chance to do what he planned for his 22nd birthday. Also, he knew that the view would be unpleasant and yes, it was indeed what he had thought initially. The guys from Stratford Upon Avon went to The King’s Head dressed in a Sports Direct outfit. While everyone managed to get it all in just $30, Sam went all out and spent more than $100 for the outfit.

Their tour began with drinking from their local The King’s Head, from where they went on for a barbeque and they all had another round for drinks. However, they could only drink out of their customized Sports Direct mugs that had their names written on them. They also played several Sports Direct-themed games.

Lewis further said: “Some people went for as cheap as possible and spent about £20 but Sam went all out and spent £80+ on this referee/captain outfit, which also seemed to be everyone on TikToks favorite. Beeson’s outrageous mismatch of items was also a solid contender.”

They also had an inflatable ball that popped up after they played the game of one bounce and suddenly, they had the attention of all the people around them. But for Lewis and his friends, this birthday celebration is memorabilia that would be present inside their heads afresh for years to come. Lewis added: “Oh it’s been my best birthday to date! I won’t be forgetting it in a hurry that’s for sure. It went down so well we have decided that all birthdays have to be themed from now on.”
