Setting the Trend of Goodness with a Surreal Hairstyle
A man named Stu Turner took up a surreal hairstyle to deliver on the goodness notes. The man from Cardiff has got a ring of hair stretching from his chain to the top of his head, connecting his side locks. He donated his hair to The Little Princess Trust and raised more than £1,000 for it and Cancer Research UK.
Hairstyles are sometimes as whimsical as they can for one to support them in public. From shaved off heads to long locks, they vary across a wide range to deliver different preferences. Some people manage to work out a perfect hairstyle for them. But they are also a few souls who end up taking it hilariously. A man named Stu Turner made a mark on that front with his surreal hairstyle. He has sent people around in a series of deep thoughts.
The 36-year-old man from Cardiff was not in a mood to go for a haircut during the lockdown. He thought the daunting period to last for around three months. Therefore, he let his hair grow and rule his style till he could make it back to his office. But to his horror, the period went on to last for eighteen months. He got a lot of hair. Finally, it was time for him to bid adieu to them.
Shedding light on that part, he said, “At the beginning of the first lockdown I said I wasn't going to cut my hair and beard until we were back working in the office, but what I expected to be three months turned out to be 18 months - so I had a lot of hair to lose.” Adding to that, he said, “Having had a beard on my face for most of my life, I can tell you that nothing really prepares you for the feeling of your own breath on your chin.”
However, unlike others, he ended up taking a surreal hairstyle. He shaved off his head and got a ring of hair stretching from his chin to the top of his head. Well, he did not mean it a style in the beginning. He took that look up for a cause. Touching upon the notes of goodness, he donated his hair to The Little Princess Trust. They would go into the making of hair wigs for children going through cancer treatment. Not just that, they would get them for free.
Adding more to that part, he also managed to garner more than £1,000 for the trust and Cancer Research UK. Therefore, he did not leave any stone unturned to serve society. However, people are seeing his new hairstyle as a trend. They are not able to figure out the charity thing involved in his move.
Highlighting people’s reaction around him, he shared, “I went out in town the other day, and my hair went down really well. I started getting quite a lot of respect from people, which wasn't really expected. The strangest thing was that some people didn't assume it was a charity thing or a bet that I'd lost, a lot of people thought that I had some sort of new, trendy Generation Z style haircut!”
Adding to that, he said, “When I'm walking around, I'm still quite thankful for my face mask as I'm not quite ready to subject myself to the comments I'd get from some people. But when you do something like this, you've got to accept that people will stare, that's all part of making a fool of yourself for a good cause.”
